Thank you for using MoguMogu (the "App"). Kazuki Apps ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in the App.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

Food management data entered or registered in the App, including food names, purchase dates, expiration dates, categories, notification settings, custom icons, and display order, is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. This food management data is not sent to our servers, and we do not directly access it. The App does not require account registration and does not directly collect personal information such as your name or email address.

The App uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition for receipt scanning. Receipt images are processed on the device. We do not upload receipt images or recognized receipt text to our servers.

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (such as GAID), device information, and usage data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

The App uses Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to improve the service and understand usage. This may collect usage events (such as app opens, item additions, receipt scans, OCR result count buckets, notification settings, sort changes, auto-delete settings, review prompts, feedback actions, and language changes), approximate usage, device and OS information, and an app instance identifier. We do not send food names, OCR text, images, or exact dates; only abstracted parameters are used. This data is used for statistical analysis and not to identify individuals.

The App may use Firebase Crashlytics to improve quality. If a crash occurs, diagnostic data such as stack traces, device information, and OS version is sent to Crashlytics. Food names, receipt images, and OCR text are not included.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Please refer to each service's privacy policy for details about how they handle information.

Data Storage and Sharing

Your food management data is stored on your device. We do not sell or provide your registered food names, expiration dates, notification settings, custom icons, or display order to third parties. Communications related to ads, analytics, crash diagnostics, and feedback email are handled through the applicable third-party services or the email app selected by you.

Notifications

The App uses local notifications to remind you when registered food items are close to their expiration date. Notification text may include food names. Notification content is created on your device, and food names are not sent to our servers for notification delivery.

Feedback Email

When you send feedback by email from the App, the email body may automatically include the app version, OS information, device information, and locale as supplementary information. Food names, receipt images, and OCR text are not automatically attached. You can review and edit the email content in your email app before sending it.

Your Choices for Ads and Analytics

You may be able to control identifiers used for personalized ads and analytics in your device settings. On Android, you may reset your advertising ID or limit ad personalization from the Settings app. You can also delete the App's local data from your device's app settings at any time.

Disclaimer

The App's expiration displays, OCR results, and notifications are intended to help with food management. They do not guarantee food safety or quality. Please check the actual condition, label, and storage instructions for each food item. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from use of the App.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature additions, third-party service changes, or legal requirements. The updated policy becomes effective when posted on this page.
